A '100% Balkan Trafik !' production: Albanian Diaspora in Brussels

Balkan Trafik 10th edition: 14-17 April 2016, Brussels

In collaboration with the Konitza Cultural Association, the cultural center Vatra, Albanian organisations and artists in Belgium, Balkan Trafik 2016 will feature exceptional performances by local Albanian artists, to create a unique show based on Brussels’ diaspora.

Among them will be two special presentations based on the book of Legendes, Fables et Contes Albanais by Konitza founding member Safet Kryemadhi, direction by Zenel Laci, featuring actor Anila Dervishi and guitarist Afrim Jahja.

ALBANIAN TALES AND LEGENDS

On a bare stage, a storyteller accompanied by a guitarist invites us on a journey. Together with them, we discover magical places and unusual customs. Through Albanian fairy tales, we explore a country of the imagination, rich in legends.

A dramatised reading to bring to life and encourage reflection on the universal beauty of Albanian stories and legends.
